These are three artists that I'm thinking about creating an homage piece for:

Viktor & Rolf:

I really love how they took three beautifully, normal ball gowns, and hacked them into works of abstract art. It looks like they're statues. Moving statues which makes them all that much more cool. The negative space, I believe, is the most important part to the dresses. It makes them very edgy and chic, the blue one looks like that shouldn't work but it does and that's why I'm choosing Viktor & Rolf for my homage project.

Jacqueline Ryan:

I like Jacqueline's work because of how intricate some of her pieces are and how all the parts of a certain piece have different widths to them. Also a lot of her works seem to resemble ancient designs, which is pretty cool since I've got a thing for archaeology. The colors she uses work so well with each other, she uses a lot of blue tints and shades which really help make her pieces pop.

Noelle T. Dass:

I actually own a couple of Noelle's pieces, and I love them because of how eccentric they are. She uses a lot of bright colors and all the animals look like their eyes are about to pop out of their heads. They're so cute.
And the style she uses! Oh my gosh, you would think that it would be easy to copy such a goofy looking picture, but guess what? It's soooo not. I've tried, but the lines she uses are just so perfect, I don't know how she does it.
